The Interim Infection Control Practitioner is an independent role with no direct reports that provides infection control services to two transitional care hospitals
Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer and the Corporate Infection Control Leader, this Interim will be responsible for infection surveillance, ensuring proper infection prevention signage for patients, and accuracy in agency reporting
Provide input regarding pre-admission processes and patient cohorting
Work with physicians and pharmacy on antimicrobial rounding
Deliver a thorough review of processes, policies and procedures, identifying areas needing improvement

Each interim healthcare executive job has different travel requirements. Your travel, lodging and business expenses are covered by B.E. Smith and the client.
In a standard Interim Leadership arrangement, the client pays for travel home every other weekend.
The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
Must be familiar with state reporting requirements and collecting documentation
Ideal Interim leader is an RN with strong infection control experience and active Washington RN license
Will consider both clinical and non-clinical IC professionals
