Health Technician (Audiology)
As the Staff Health Technician (Audiology) under the supervision of a GS-12 Staff Audiologist or above. The position is within the Audiology Service (Audiology & Speech Pathology Service) at the Loma Linda Veterans Health Administration Healthcare System at the Murrieta CBOC. The duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in all clinical and other patient care areas involved with the Audiology Service. The Health Technician supports the function of the clinical programs in Audiology. Primary responsibility is for patient care, supporting diagnostic and treatment procedures, patient charting and patient education, which do not require a full professional audiology education or knowledge and skills represented by audiology licensure.
