Pacific Diagnostic Laboratories is currently in need of a per diem Pathologist Assistant (10hr shifts). PDL is a full-service clinical laboratory serving medical practitioners in Central Coast and Southern California regions. Formed in 2007, PDL offers the highest-quality laboratory services and an unmatched level of customer care.
The Pathologist Assistant would assist in performance of autopsy and surgical pathology services. Work independently when performing professional duties associated with the preparation, performance, and completion of autopsies, and examination and/or preparations of the surgical pathology specimens, with general supervision of pathologist. The ideal candidate would have the ability to work independently, take initiative and work cooperatively in finding solutions to problems as they arise.
Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) as a Pathologists’ Assistant.
