The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of ancillary testing and oversight of testing outside the physical confines of the laboratories within VA NCHCS by non-laboratory personnel. The incumbent also develops and recommends policies and procedures for the procurement and service requirements for ancillary testing (testing outside the physical confines of the main laboratories as mandated by VHA). This position is located at the Sacramento VA Medical Center in Mather, CA. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Preferred Experience: Minimum of 5-year experience as an MLS, MT, or CLS Extensive knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office
