Registered Nurse - Intermittent Float
The primary role of the Float Pool Intermittent Registered Nurse (RN) is to provide back-up coverage for the nursing staff in Primary Care (PC) including the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), Specialty & Acute Care (SAC) and the Surgical Clinics. The duty station is the Columbus VA but may occasionally travel to the CBOC's to provide coverage. The House Float Intermittent RN works during the week and occasional weekends/holidays. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship. Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
