Description

• State of Florida General Radiology Technologist license - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
• American Registry of Rad Tech (ARRT) - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
• CT Certification - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment and obtained within 12 months in position
• American Heart Association BLS - maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist

Qualifications

• Maintains accountability by ensuring compliance thru timely completion of licensures, certifications, all competencies, health requirements (PPD, N95, Flu, etc.), and education requirements.
• Maintains accountability and timekeeping expectations as outlined by MCHS Timekeeping and Attendance policy and procedures. Ensures behavior is compliant with communication standards.
• Ensures behavior meets and/or exceeds targeted service scores as measured by the Service Index and/or the internal departmental service survey.

• Completed a training program in Computerized Axial Tomography highly preferred.
• At least one year experience in high volume pediatric setting is highly preferred.
• Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families, and co-workers.
• Thorough knowledge of radiological and CT terminology, cross-sectional anatomy, practices, procedures, physiology, and human anatomy.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to problem solve and adapt standard clinical procedures to the individual client's needed.
• Ability to interpret, adapt, and react calmly under stressful conditions.
• Ability to communicate within a multi-disciplinary team in order to achieve top quality results.
• Ability to work as a team member.
