GENERAL SUMMARY: Laboratory Manager oversees the accuracy of the laboratory staff to ensure accountability for quality of specimens handled and test results reported. Hires, trains and is responsible for the scheduling of the laboratory staff. Directs, establishes and plans the overall policies and goals for laboratory services. Ensures compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements to ensure the highest quality of service to patients and physicians at all times.
