Phlebotomist (PRN)
DescriptionSummary:The phlebotomist/lab assistant may be responsible for collection of blood specimens, receive and accession specimens and responsible for the distribution of specimens to the proper laboratory section. The phlebotomist/lab assistant shall perform various section procedures according to established guidelines. The responsibilities of this lab assistant will be performed within all areas of the hospital.Requirements:A.Education/Skills High school diploma required Must successfully complete on the job-training program, including computer training during initial employment.
