Health Technician (Optometry)
The health technician must be able to obtain, document, and record ophthalmic and medical information from patients to develop an accurate electronic progress note (including but not limited to include chief complaint, reason for visit, signs/symptoms, etc.). Technician will obtain basic eye ancillary tests and images including but not limited to the following: acuity measurement (with and without pinhole), color vision, fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, visual field testing. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
