Our collaborative multi-specialty group is seeking an experienced Anatomical & Clinical Pathologist for part-time coverage. Partner with a 4-provider group of pathologists located in nearby Boise, ID. Partners collaborate on a regular basis (including weekly, multi-disciplinary Breast Conference and Tumor Board on rotating basis) and limit call requirements to minimal evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The pathology group provides services to all service lines within the hospital plus a laboratory outreach program and is supported by a superb histology lab. Approximated cases/year include 1200 surgical pathology, 50 non-GYN cytologies, and 50 hematology cases.
You can expect a traditional M-F work week, plus call and hospital duties including procedures, rounding, and consults. This is a part time position but is well-compensated and has substantial benefits - see below.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Pathology residency program
Board Certification through the American Board of Pathology in AP/CP
Obtain Oregon & Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC-O and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
