The community you’ll be caring for:

·     Flagler is a charming seaside community that is part of the Palm Coast

·     The Palm Coast area is a growing community resulting in the current construction of a second hospital scheduled to open in late 2022

·     Stroll through a secluded nature preserve on one of the many biking and walking paths including the Great Florida Birding Trail.

·     From saltwater fishing to deep sea diving, sprawling golf courses to oceanfront restaurants, you’ll have plenty of ways to spend your free time and enjoy the warm weather – all right in your backyard

·     With close proximity to Daytona Beach, St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Orlando, you’ll have easy access to some of Florida’s most renowned hotspots and world-class attractions

The role you’ll contribute:

Performs Radiographic and CT imaging procedures.  Positions, moves, and transports patients. Performs clerical duties. Assists Radiologist in performance of special imaging procedures. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Participates in standby call. Our facilities have an outstanding tradition of medical excellence and compassionate care, which is drawn from our Christian Mission To Extend the Healing Ministry of Christ.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Performs Radiologic and CT imaging procedures.
• Performs direct patient care duties, within technologist’s scope of practice, including assisting Radiologist in fluoroscopic and special procedures.  Utilizes proper infection control techniques.
• Prepares and administers radiographic contrast material as directed by the Radiologist. Starts IV’s when needed.
• Processes radiographs, with correct patient demographic and examination information.
• Uses computer to enter and access patient information correctly and change procedure status and billing. 
• Performs X-ray imaging procedures as needed per X-ray job description.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Associates Degree
• Current ARRT (R) required
• Florida license in Radiography required
• 1-2 years CT experience required. CT registry may be used as experience.
