Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a board-certified Periodontist to join the Department of Dental Specialties, Division of Periodontics.
The primary role involves a surgical component of surgical-prosthodontic team care for patients requiring oral reconstruction for moderate to severe oral disability related to missing teeth and treatment of oral disease of the periodontium.
Additional responsibilities including assisting with the development of collaborative efforts to assist in identifying and managing oral infectious disease comorbidity impacts in medical care. Teaching of resident physicians as part of the CODA accredited program in Periodontics is a part of this critical role. Scholarly activity and documentation of clinical care with lectures, publications and conferences are a supplemental part of this role.
Candidates must be board-certified in periodontics with an interest in joining a busy quality-oriented periodontic practice.
