The New Mexico VA Healthcare System is recruiting for a Health Technician assigned to Nursing Service. The primary purpose of the position is to provide medical, and administrative support assistance to the Inpatient units. The Technician will perform numerous assignments to relieve the medical student/resident of routine duties that can be performed by ancillary staff, and will uphold the standards of care as outlined by the Medical Center and Nursing Service policies and procedures. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/20/2023. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date
