Manager, Infection Prevention
Responsibilities The Manager of Infection Prevention is responsible for the administration and management of the Infection Control department. Work is performed with latitude for the exercise of initiative and independent judgment within established policies and is reviewed in collaboration with other department leaders as appropriate. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure the department employees are providing the services appropriate to the needs, including ages, of the patient population served. The Manager of Infection Prevention will demonstrate a functional understanding of all state and federal regulations, which pertain to and affect Infection Prevention.
