This position is designated as a Histopathology Technologist in the Anatomic Pathology section of the Birmingham VA Medical Center, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine. Service (P&LMS). At the full performance level, the incumbent will perform a full range of duties which consist of histopathology techniques and broad scientific principles from fields of biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
