Medical Technologist (Microbiology)
The Phoenix VA Health Care System is recruiting for a Medical Technologist(Microbiology), in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (PALMS). The position is located at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center. The Medical Technologist (MT) is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Pathology Laboratory, such as routine testing, quality control, routine maintenance of instrumentation and troubleshooting. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency. MT
