Summary:  The Director of Emergency Management is a leadership position within the hospital, responsible for overseeing the Emergency Department, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Emergency Operations Planning and Response. The Director of Emergency Management is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of emergency preparedness and response programs for the organization. This role ensures the hospital is prepared to respond effectively to all types of emergencies, including natural disasters, pandemics, and other crisis situations, to maintain the safety and security of patient’s staff and visitors.
