The Infection Preventionist will participate in implementing the Infection Prevention and Control plan under the supervision of the IPC Manager. The Infection Preventionist (IP) works to prevent, identify, monitor, and control the spread of infection. The IP participates in surveillance, data collection and analysis, data presentations, improvement teams, policy reviews, and staff education throughout the hospital and as deemed necessary across the organization. Provides oversight and consultative advice to leadership, physicians, and staff as an expert in infection prevention and control.
