Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Receives, decontaminates and processes instrumentation and equipment used in the hospital and various outside agencies, as well as the documentation of those processes.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:Decontamination of equipment and cards (medic or isolation) returned from the Nursing units.Retrieving soiled instruments from the Nursing units.Change proteolytic enzyme cleaner on the Nursing units every five days.Decontamination of instrumentation received from areas within the hospital and outside agencies.Sealing decontamination boxes and making new ones as needed (DGH only).Ordering of
