JOB SUMMARYThe Infection Preventionist 2 implements and reviews the facility's infection prevention program, to ensure existing standards and guidelines of applicable professional organizations and regulatory and governmental agencies are incorporated into the program, and serves as a subject matter professional about infection prevention issues for all facility team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEDesigns, implements, and evaluates infection prevention strategies to prevent and control the transmission of infectious agents, applying epidemiologic values and evidence-based guidelinesConducts on-going surveillance using Centers for Disease Control (CDC) infection criteria; evaluates the effectiveness of the surveillance
