ProPath is currently seeking an exceptional board certified or eligible in anatomic and clinical pathology to join our established 4-person practice at John Peter Smith Health Network (JPS) in Fort Worth, Texas. JPS has over 40 clinics and a 537-bed teaching hospital designated as Tarrant County's only Level 1 Trauma center. The appropriate individual would join our nationally recognized practice of 50 physicians and PhDs with an independent laboratory located in Dallas, TX. ProPath provides the JPS practice with subspecialty back-up, in-house esoteric testing (molecular, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, cytogenetics), frequent daily courier runs, and daily virtual conferences with ability to bi-directionally share cases real time. Requirements: Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty is expected. Candidates must possess a medical degree and be able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of Texas. Board certification or eligibility in anatomic and clinical pathology is required. Additional experience in hematopathology and hospital-based surgical pathology cases is a bonus. Beyond superior diagnostic skills, in order to fit with the ProPath culture, successful candidates must have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and a strong work ethic centered around being a team player.
