American Consultants is looking for the next Director of Nursing for a hospital outside of Ottumwa, IA. This is a permanent position and the candidate will need to relocate to the area.
**Job Summary**
The Director of Nursing is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves managing nursing operations, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Director of Nursing will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and maintain a safe and effective environment for both patients and staff.
**Duties**
Oversee daily nursing operations, including shift management and staff scheduling.
Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
