Overview The Infectious Diseases Diagnostic Laboratory (IDDL) located in the Mayo building at University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank has a fulltime, 10 hour, night shift MLS/MT, Monday Friday 8:30 pm 7:00am, with every other weekend and rotating holidays). IDDL performs approximately 700,000 Microbiology and Virology tests annually. We span the spectrum from manual reading of bacteriology cultures to state of the art PCR testing.
